Ruritan Alert: community groups including the Ruritans support this annual local celebraton. Rumors this year of adding a Friday Night Fish Fry, a dunking booth, more vendors and demonstrations, maybe a big shade tent for the hot field. Please bring ideas to the planning sessions and encourage your neighbors to help with the event. (This year is a practice for the big 70th next year!)
Annual event to visit a different church each year. All Ruritan’s encouraged to attend. Follow sign on Friars Hill Road southwest of Sunlight. The spur road leads uphill to the church and a lovely overlook. Service is at 9:30 am Sunday.
