West Virginia’s Birthday Celebration

Saturday June 17th

10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Celebrate West VIrginia’s BIRTHDAY at the Williamsburg WV Historical Museum, 596 Williamsburg Road, Williamsburg, WV.  Come enjoy local story tellers, authors, tours of the Museum, demonstration of traditional crafters and local musicians.  The Museum Gift Shop will be open.  Concessions will be available including hotdogs, cobblers with ice cream, assorted beverages and more.  Questions:  304‑645‑2153.

West Virginia Day Celebration

Saturday June 18th

10:00 am – 2:00 pm

With “Story Telling Corner” by authors and local residents.  Special art tribute to Mattie Hinkle Phipps with a display of five of her paintings.  White oak basket demonstrations, tour of the Museum, and MUCH more. FOOD will be available: Hot Dogs and all the trimmings, variety of cobblers with ice cream, drinks and more. Sponsored by The Williamsburg Historical Society, at the Williamsburg Historical Museum.

The Williamsburg Museum is raffling off a new 10′ x 10′ metal building kit with wood framed floor

as part of their fundraiser to match funds from the Modern Woodsmen.  100 tickets are being sold at $10 each for a drawing to be held on August 2, 2021 at the Williamsburg Museum at 6:00 pm.  Need not be present to win.

Tickets may be purchased from members of the Museum Board, or online through Facebook, or call 304-520-1774 or contact Cassandra Perkiins, Loretta Shirley, Carolyn Stephens Cleaton Roger Alder, Gregory Hurd, or Blanche Knicely.
